Our daily schedule and what your child can expect from us
7.30 / 8.30 a.m. until 9 a.m.
Early care / flexible drop-off time
Good Morning: On request, our pedagogically trained team looks after the children from 7.30 am. Depending on their mood, they can play, paint, read, talk or rest. Early childcare is a free service for working parents. This can be used between 7.30 and 8.20 a.m. (summer: 8.15 a.m.), registration is not necessary. Between 8.30 and 9 a.m. is our flexible drop-off time, when the workshop leaders and our volunteers welcome the children.
9 a.m.
Welcome and morning circle
Welcome to Lilalu: Our workshop leaders and volunteers welcome the young Lilalu artists from 8.30 am. Each child reports directly to their workshop leader; parents are welcome to join them in the gym (or tent) during this time. After the official welcome with all participants and supervisors, each workshop group has its own morning circle.
From 9.15 a.m. until noon
Training, games and discussion groups
Now it’s time to practise: in the morning, the participants train in their respective disciplines. The workshop is led by state-approved artists and other professionals. Pedagogically trained vacation supervisors also look after the children. The supervision ratio in our workshops averages 1:7 and the group size is around 20 participants. Participants contribute their questions, ideas and wishes to the discussion groups that take place several times a day.
In between mornings
Age-appropriate breaks / snacks
Time to relax: Depending on the age and constitution of the Lilalu artists, the workshop leaders plan one to several age-appropriate breaks. Here, the children have the opportunity to play board games, become artistically active or, if available, burn off excess energy by playing ball games. And of course there is time to rest, eat and drink.
Noon
Lunchtime
Recharge your energy: At lunchtime, the children fortify themselves with a hot meal from our caterer (5 euros/day) or with a snack from home. The caterer offers two different dishes every day, supplemented by fruit/dessert or soup. At least one of the dishes is vegetarian, meat dishes are prepared without pork. Your child will receive the menu, including allergen labeling, with the parents‘ letter approximately one week before the start of the workshop.
Afternoon until 16 p.m.
Training, group meeting, breaks
Let’s move on: After lunch, the children enjoy working on acquiring new sporting and creative skills and designing a show choreography together. As in the morning, there is also enough time and space for group circles and breaks in the afternoon.
3.30 p.m. until 4 p.m.
End of workshop / pick-up
End for today: At 3.30 pm the training ends and most of the young Lilalu artists are now picked up by their parents (or other authorized caregivers). With the permission of their parents or guardians, the children can also go home on their own. Some children stay longer and attend Pluscare. The pick-up time is flexible between 3.30 and 4 pm.
4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Plus care
Time to run around and play: In the late childcare after the end of the workshop, the children can play soccer or board games with the caregivers and volunteers, do arts and crafts, swing the swing cloth, capture the day’s experiences in pictures – or simply relax. Plus care is a (chargeable) service for working parents and can be booked together with the workshop ticket or on site on the first day. Pick-up times are flexible between 4.15 pm and 6 pm.
